1997 Gilles Earns Ethics Award
Robert Gilles, broker-owner of Gilles Realty, has been given an Extraordinary Ethical Conduct Award which honors day-to-day ethical acts by REALTORS® nominated by their peers.
"A sale involved several challenges. The house needed many FHA work requirements; the first-time buyers had some language and “overall process” understanding needs."
"Gilles’ constant attention to the transaction led to a successful outcome. He repeatedly went out of his way to make sure the buyers understood their choices and the transaction process."
This is the first year for the ethics award, yet Gilles’ five-person office has been awarded two ethics honors. Earlier this year, REALTOR ® Mark McManus was awarded the Ethical Conduct Award.
“It is really quite an honor for our office. Ethics are a very important guideline for REALTORS® in Spokane. It’s really a way of life,” Gilles said.
McManus Earns Ethics Award
Mark McManus, with R. A. Gilles Realty, has been honored with an Extraordinary Ethical Conduct award at a meeting of the membership of the Spokane Association of REALTORS®.
McManus aided a fellow REALTOR® in working with a homeowner to bring the residence for sale up to FHA standard. McManus helped the owner clean out the crawl space so it could pass the inspection and the owner was able to sell the home.
Ethical conduct and subscribing to a Code of Ethics are what makes REALTORS® different when it comes to transactions.
